With a Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) tip and AISI 303 or 304 stainless steel case, it withstands demanding conditions while providing accurate, non-contact displacement sensing.
The 330104-15-25-10-02-05 features a 150 mm unthreaded length and 250 mm overall case length, with a total cable length of 1.0 meter (3.3 feet). It uses a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with standard cable. The probe case thread is M10x1 with a maximum thread engagement of 15 mm. Nominal probe DC resistance from center conductor to outer conductor is 7.59 ± 0.50 ohms for the 1.0 m length. The linear range is 2 mm (80 mils), beginning at approximately 0.25 mm (10 mils) from the target, with a recommended gap setting for radial vibration of -9 Vdc (approximately 1.27 mm / 50 mils). Field wiring should use 0.2 to 1.5 mm² (16 to 24 AWG) three-conductor shielded triad cable with tinned ends. Maximum field wiring length between the 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor and the monitor is 305 meters (1,000 feet). For proper sealing, note that the probe is designed to seal differential pressure between the tip and case using a Viton O-ring, but probes are not pressure tested prior to shipment. Routine inspection of the probe cable and connector for damage is recommended. The probe tip material (PPS) and stainless steel case provide excellent chemical and corrosion resistance. Exposing the probe to temperatures below -34°C (-30°F) may cause premature failure of the pressure seal, so avoid such conditions. The probe shows less than a 3% change in Average Scale Factor (ASF) when tested in 93% humidity per IEC standard 68-2-3 for up to 56 days, confirming its stability in humid environments.
The 330104-15-25-10-02-05 is part of the Bently Nevada 3300 XL series and works with compatible 3300 XL Proximitor Sensors and monitoring systems. For intrinsically safe installations, use with zener barriers per drawing 141092 or galvanic isolators. For non-incendive circuits, connect per drawing 140979. This probe supports Class I, Zone 0 and Zone 2 hazardous area classifications as detailed in the specifications.
