The 330104-10-16-05-01-00 features a 2 mm (80 mils) linear range, starting at approximately 0.25 mm (10 mils) from the target and extending to 2.3 mm (90 mils), corresponding to approximately -1 to -17 Vdc. The recommended gap setting for radial vibration is -9 Vdc, approximately 1.27 mm (50 mils). The probe tip is made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and the case is AISI 303 or 304 stainless steel (SST). It operates over a standard temperature range of -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F). The nominal probe DC resistance (RPROBE) is 7.45 ± 0.50 ohms for the 0.5 meter length.

The maximum cable length between the 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor and the monitor is 305 meters (1,000 feet). The probe case thread is M10x1, with a maximum thread engagement of 15 mm. Ensure the probe is not exposed to temperatures below -34°C (-30°F) to avoid premature pressure seal failure. The probe is designed to seal differential pressure between the tip and case using a Viton O-ring.
Regular inspection of the probe and cable for physical damage is recommended. The probe's stainless steel construction and PPS tip resist corrosion and wear, extending service life. For applications requiring intrinsic safety, the probe can be installed with zener barriers per drawing 141092 or galvanic isolators for Class I, Zone 0: AEx/Ex ia IIC T5...T1 Ga; Class 1, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Groups E, F, G; Class III. For non-incendive installations, use drawing 140979 for Class I, Zone 2: AEx/Ex nA IIC T5…T1 Gc; Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D.
