Inspect the probe tip and cable periodically for physical damage or contamination. Verify the O-ring seal integrity to maintain differential pressure sealing. The PPS tip resists many chemicals, but avoid abrasive contact. Follow the temperature schedule for ambient conditions: for EPL Ga and Gc, T5 rating allows -55°C to +40°C; T4 allows -55°C to +80°C; T3 allows -55°C to +120°C; T2 allows -55°C to +177°C; T1 allows -55°C to +232°C. For EPL Dc, refer to specific temperature classifications.
The 330104-08-15-10-02-05 is part of the 3300 XL system and works with 3300-series 5 mm and 3300 XL 8 mm proximitor sensors and extension cables. It accepts a -24 Vdc power supply with a 10 kΩ load. When installed with intrinsically safe zener barriers per drawing 141092 or galvanic isolators, it meets Class I, Zone 0: AEx/Ex ia IIC T5...T1 Ga; Class 1, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Groups E, F, G; Class III. For non-incendive circuits per drawing 140979, it meets Class I, Zone 2: AEx/Ex nA IIC T5…T1 Gc; Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class I, Zone 2: AEx/Ex ec IIC T5…T1 Gc.
