The 330104-01-09-10-12-05 features a nominal probe DC resistance of 7.59 ± 0.50 ohms from center conductor to outer conductor at 1.0 meter length. The probe tip material is polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), while the case is made from AISI 303 or 304 stainless steel (SST). It accepts one non-contacting 3300-series 5 mm or 3300 XL 8 mm probe and extension cable. Power requirement ranges from -17.5 Vdc to -26 Vdc when installed with nonincendive circuit per drawing 140979 at 12 mA maximum consumption, and -23 Vdc to -26 Vdc with barriers. Output resistance is 50 ohms. The probe is designed to seal differential pressure between the tip and case using a Viton O-ring.
This proximity probe is ideal for monitoring shaft vibration, axial position, and eccentricity in steam turbines, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and large electric motors.
