This metric probe, part of the trusted 3300 XL series, provides a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils) starting at approximately 0.25 mm (10 mils) from the target, ensuring reliable data for predictive maintenance programs.
The 330104-01-06-10-01-00 features a probe tip made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and a case constructed from AISI 303 or 304 stainless steel (SST). Its M10x1 thread allows secure mounting, with a maximum thread engagement of 15 mm. The probe operates within a standard temperature range of -52°C to +177°C (-62°F to +350°F) and withstands humidity up to 93% with less than 3% change in Average Scale Factor (ASF). For best results, set the gap to -9 Vdc (approximately 1.27 mm or 50 mils) for radial vibration measurements.
Regular inspection of the probe cable and connector helps maintain signal integrity. Avoid exposing the probe to temperatures below -34°C (-30°F) to prevent premature failure of the pressure seal. The Viton O-ring seal is designed to handle differential pressure between the probe tip and case, but probes are not pressure tested prior to shipment.
