This metric probe with M10x1 thread and armored construction is engineered for continuous operation in demanding rotating machinery applications, from steam turbines to centrifugal compressors.
The 330104-00-13-15-01-00 offers a linear range of 2 mm (80 mils), starting at approximately 0.25 mm (10 mils) from the target and extending to 2.3 mm (90 mils). Its nominal probe DC resistance is 7.73 ± 0.50 ohms for the 1.5-meter length. The recommended gap setting for radial vibration is -9 Vdc, corresponding to about 1.27 mm (50 mils). Field wiring accepts 0.2 to 1.5 mm² (16 to 24 AWG) conductors, with a maximum cable length of 305 meters (1,000 feet) between the proximitor sensor and monitor.

Mount the probe using the M10x1 thread with a maximum engagement length of 15 mm. Use a 3-conductor shielded triad cable with tinned field wiring for best signal integrity. Ensure the probe is not exposed to temperatures below -34°C (-30°F) to avoid premature pressure seal failure. The miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with connector protector simplifies field replacement.
Routine inspection of the probe cable and connector is recommended. The Viton O-ring pressure seal is designed for differential sealing between tip and case, but probes are not pressure tested before shipment. This probe integrates with Bently Nevada 3300 XL proximitor sensors and monitoring systems. For intrinsically safe installations, use zener barriers per drawing 141092 or galvanic isolators to achieve Class I, Zone 0 ratings. Non-incendive circuits per drawing 140979 support Class I, Zone 2 installations.
