Mount the sensor using the 1/4-28 female thread with a maximum torque of 2 to 5 ft-lb (2.7 to 6.8 N-m). Ensure the mounting surface is clean and flat for optimal signal transfer. Connect the 2-Pin Mil-C-5015 top connector to a compatible data acquisition system. For best performance, use a constant current excitation source between 2 and 20 mA and an excitation voltage of 18 to 28 VDC. Allow 2.0 seconds settling time after power-up before taking measurements.
The welded hermetic stainless steel housing and ceramic sensing element provide excellent resistance to moisture and corrosion. The 100% condensing humidity rating ensures reliable operation in wet conditions. Regular inspection of the cable and connector for damage is recommended.
