This sensor is engineered for demanding industrial environments where reliable vibration monitoring is critical. Part of the Trendmaster Pro family, the 200157-09-05 is used with the ProTIM option for standard acceleration-to-velocity with acceleration enveloping channel type (-06).
The 200157-09-05 offers a sensitivity of 10.2 mV/(m/s²) (100 mV/g) at 80 Hz, with a measurement range of ±245 m/s² (±25 g). Its frequency range spans 10 to 10,000 Hz (600 to 600,000 cpm), and the mounted resonant frequency exceeds 20 kHz (>1200 kcpm). Amplitude linearity is within ±2% (1 to 10 g pk), and transverse sensitivity is ≤7%. Settling time is ≤300 ms, excitation voltage is 4.7 to 5.5 Vdc, quiescent current is <800 µA, and output bias voltage is +2.5 ± 0.23 Vdc. The accelerometer also measures down to 14.7 mm/s² (1.5 mg).
This accelerometer excels in detecting early-stage defects in roller element bearings, a common pain point in industries like petrochemical, power generation, and mining. Mount the 200157-09-05 using the 3/8-24 female thread. The mounting stud option 09 provides a 3/8-24 to 3/4 NPT adapter with a 1-1/4 inch hex stud. Apply a mounting torque of 2.7 to 6.8 N•m (2 to 5 ft•lbf). Ensure the mounting surface is clean and flat for optimal vibration transfer. The sensor is made of 316L stainless steel for durability in harsh environments.
Routine inspection of the mounting integrity and cable connections is recommended. The hermetically sealed design (5x10⁻⁸ atm•cc/s maximum) protects against moisture and contaminants, supporting reliable operation in 100% condensing humidity (non-submerged). The ceramic shear sensing element provides long-term stability.
